The Miners Rest is a family friendly restaurant, a place to come together, eat and drink. Set in the heart of the Chew Valley,
we serve locally sourced, seasonal food in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
The Radstock Hotel & public house was historically owned by the Waldegrave family – Lords of the Manor. Working miners would attend the public house to collect their wages and enjoy a beer after a hard days work in the local coal mines. We’ve therefore named our restaurant in its relaunch, ‘The Miners Rest’ to honour the hard working miners from back in the 18th century.
